Our innovative client seeks an experienced Tax Director to join their organization. This is a stellar opportunity to work with a growing company that aims to make history in their sector.

Responsibilities

Manage and develop tax team members.

Oversee tax compliance, including preparation and filing of federal, state, and international tax returns.

Serve as a strategic partner to finance and project teams, providing tax analysis and advice.

Manage relationships with third-party tax advisors and ensure proper services for key decisions.

Collaborate with advisors on tax provisions for SEC reporting and business transactions.

Lead research on tax implications of organizational actions and handle audits, notices, and technical tax issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and active CPA required.

At least 8 years of relevant experience with expertise in US and international tax, ASC 740, and tax reform matters.

Experience with Up-C structure, publicly traded companies, and/or SOX compliance preferred.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently resolve issues and collaborate in complex situations.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to create and interpret complex information and build internal networks.

Effective planning and organizing abilities, prioritizing tasks, managing timelines, and working efficiently.

Adaptable to changing work environments and managing competing demands.

Salary: $175k-$200k (DOE) + Bonus
