The Global Markets Pre-Trade IT team is responsible for providing Global Macro (Rates, FX), Equity/Securities Lending and Credit businesses with reliable and time-sensitive IT solutions to meet their needs. The team is involved in the different phases of application development: user needs collection, analysis, design, implementation, delivery, support, and maintenance, within an agile framework.
We are seeking a highly skilled Rapid Application Developer (associate or VP level) to create and enhance applications that support our FX, LATAM and interest rates derivatives trading activities. You will work closely with traders and other stakeholders to deliver IT solutions that meet the dynamic needs of trading (intraday risks and P&L reporting, trading activities analytics, ad-hoc tooling etc.). Our technology stack is mainly based on Microsoft .Net/C# and Python.
Application Development: Work closely with traders to understand traders’ activities and needs, design, develop, and implement Proof of Concepts applications (PoC) to quickly validate business ideas and requirements (trading and market data scenarios, Back testing …).
Dev Team Collaboration: Collaborate with core team developers to transition PoC into sustainable applications.
Agile Methodologies: Utilize agile methodologies to manage development cycles.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for applications, including user guides, technical specifications, and deployment procedures.
Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for applications, addressing user issues and implementing enhancements as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in software development, preferably in a financial services environment, with a focus on fixed income and derivatives for Traders.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C#
Strong understanding of fixed income, swap interest swaps/derivatives products, risks, P&L, curves, market data.
Experience with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA).
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex requirements and deliver effective solutions quickly.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with database management (SQL, NoSQL) and data visualization tools is a plus.

The salary range for the Associate position will be between $115,000 - $140,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
The salary range for the VP position will be between $145,000 - $180,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
