Blue Chip Talent is currently looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Software Asset & Data Analyst to help advance our organization's digital infrastructure and technology cost strategy. This position will play a vital role in developing and maintaining an enterprise-level software inventory system—integrating financial, contractual, and usage information to support smarter decisions across IT, Finance, Procurement, and other business units.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, systems, and strategy—someone passionate about building sustainable frameworks that scale across a growing organization.

Core Responsibilities

Spearhead the creation and refinement of an enterprise-wide software asset repository with consistent data integrity across financial, contractual, utilization, and ownership records.

Develop and implement structured processes for data normalization, de-duplication, classification, and governance.

Align closely with teams across technology, sourcing, finance, and risk to unify visibility into software assets, usage, and associated costs.

Reconcile and unify asset data across systems including but not limited to SaaS management tools, license usage trackers, general ledger, procurement platforms, and contract systems.

Establish data governance policies and ensure ongoing lifecycle traceability.

Deliver executive-ready reporting and actionable insights that influence licensing strategies, renewals, compliance, and cost management.

Act as a subject matter expert for software asset and lifecycle data—guiding policy, operations, and future-state design.

Required Experience & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or a similar discipline

At least 7 years of overall experience in IT asset data management, operations, or enterprise systems roles.

Minimum of 5 years focused specifically on Software Asset Management (SAM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), or related enterprise technology domains.

Deep familiarity with tools like Snow, Zylo, Flexera, ServiceNow SAM, OpenLM, and/or similar platforms.

Strong understanding of systems integration, data reconciliation, and structured reporting design.

Demonstrated ability to create and maintain dashboards, reporting mechanisms, and automated processes that drive stakeholder action.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical findings in a business-centric way.
