Position Overview:

The Developer is a member of the Applications & Technical Services team focusing on diverse solutions that support business goals and needs through leveraging existing technology investments. Serves as a subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with respective technologies. This role contributes to the performance, technical quality, and functional delivery of key business systems through the configuration, development, break-fix, and support activities of the supported applications and services. Has the ability to apply functional knowledge to the design and customization of these systems to provide integrated solutions. Interacts directly with business, IT developers, IT support, and other project stakeholders and understands how systems and solutions support and enhance business processes.

Accountabilities:

Works under the supervision of the Manager, IT Applications and Technical Services with responsibilities for technical requirements definition, integration methods, development/configuration, testing, and maintenance of application solutions and services.

Participates in the design of complex, highly available solutions to support the enterprise in line with strategic business initiatives, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Helps identify opportunities to streamline processes, increase quality, and increase the speed of delivery through technical solutions and process improvement.

Interacts closely with internal and external teams (developers, vendors, customers, banks, etc.) and stakeholders to ensure technical and quality targets are met in the development and delivery of services and solutions.

Responsible for security patching of IT applications and ensuring systems adhere to security policies and baselines.

Supports the triage of real-time production incidents; manages and resolves incidents within ITSM application.

Partners with IT in development, change management, and controls adherence.

Assists with unit, integration, and user acceptance testing prior to production deployment.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education:

Education Level:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, MIS, CIS, Finance, or other related field or equivalent experience is required.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT with a focus on Application Development and/or Technical Support.

Experience with EDI Transaction Sets related to Warehousing, Supply Chain, and Grocery Industries [PO (850/875), Invoice (810/880), Advanced Ship Notice (856), Warehouse Shipping Order (940), Warehouse Shipping Advice (945), Warehouse Stock Transfer Shipping Advice (943), Warehouse Stock Transfer Receipt Advice (944), Warehouse Inventory Adjustment Advice (947), Inventory Inquiry Advice (846)].

Experience with EDI applications and mapper, including extended mapping rules (IBM/Sterling B2Bi preferred).

Experience with AS2 communication.

Experience onboarding and testing with new trading partners from requirements to production.

Experience with Oracle Databases and SQL Developer or similar tools preferred.

Familiarity with Oracle/EBS Order Entry, AP, WMS, Inventory, and Purchasing modules a plus.

Working knowledge of ERP, scheduling, ITSM, EDI Solutions, SharePoint, Dynamics, or related systems.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Skills:

Detailed understanding of system administration, software development/configuration, and domain knowledge in enterprise-class multi-tier application development technologies.

Experience with and knowledge of On-prem and Cloud/IaaS solutions, including ERP Systems, Enterprise Job Schedulers, EDI Solutions, ITSM systems, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Dynamics.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multi-task and manage priorities across production support and multiple projects.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively with peers and partners.

Must possess the ability to always maintain external and internal confidentiality.
