Position Summary:
The Client Service Officer is responsible for all administrative tasks related to the client relationship and must provide a high level of client service to Investment Management and Personal Trust Clients.

Essential Job Functions of the Client Service Officer:
Provide exceptional service through proactive communication with new and existing clients.
Respond quickly to client questions, requests or concerns.
Authenticate and process client transaction requests
Partner closely with the internal client relationship team to ensure seamless, consistent and coordinated client service delivery
Onboard new clients and maintain accurate, up-to-date records for a variety of investment management and fiduciary account types.
Utilize in-house system to review and resolve account alerts in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements related to investment and fiduciary accounts.
Collaborate with attorneys, accountants and other professionals to support clients and identify potential business opportunities.
Required Skills and Abilities of the Client Service Officer:
Strong understanding of various account types and security types (E.g. equities, bonds).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and trust account systems.
High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
Demonstrated ability to handle complex situations with sound judgement and professionalism.
Team oriented with a proactive, self-motivated approach.
Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Required Education / Experience of the Client Service Officer:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field – or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a client services role within a wealth management, private banking, or personal trust firm.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
This position is based in an office environment with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Travel
This position does not require travel.

$100,000/year to $150,000/yr
The actual base pay offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held. Base pay is one component of Chevy Chase Trust's total compensation package, which also includes access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, bonus plans and more.
