Job Title: Data Architect

Experience Range: 15+ years

- Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

1. Data Platform Design: Architect and design end-to-end data platforms that are scalable, secure, and reliable, ensuring they meet the current and future needs of the organization.

2. AWS Implementation and Maintenance: Lead the implementation and ongoing maintenance of data platforms on AWS, including data warehouses, data lakes, and real-time data processing systems.

3. AWS Data Integration: Develop and oversee data integration processes on AWS, ensuring seamless data flow across various systems and applications.

4. Data Quality and Governance: Establish and enforce data quality standards, data governance policies, and best practices to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance.

5. Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, and improving system efficiency.

6. Security and Compliance: Comply with security standards and regulatory requirements, implementing robust security measures to protect sensitive data.

7. Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical guidance and support for data-related projects especially on AWS.

8. Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data architecture, recommending and integrating new tools and methodologies to enhance data platforms on AWS.

9. Documentation and Training: Develop comprehensive documentation for AWS data platforms and provide training to team members on best practices and new technologies

10. Should have hands on experience in writing queries/procedures in SQL, My SQL, Postgre SQL etc.,
