CKC Laboratories, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified person to work as an EMC / EMI Test Engineer in our Bothell, WA (Seattle Area) test facility. Our EMC Test Engineers provide test set-up and make RF measurements on cutting edge technology from a broad range of industries.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Operate EMC/EMI testing facility for both emissions and immunity.

· Read and understand requirements for the testing to be performed.

· Conduct military standard and/or commercial emissions and immunity testing per the applicable requirements.

· Accurately document testing results.

· Create test plans to various standards and custom requirements.

· Confirm the calibration status of all internal test equipment. Perform calibration of equipment.

· Develop and validate test methods to support unique customer requirements.

· Understand and take action based on changes to test standards.

· Troubleshoot test failures to determine causes.

· Effective interpersonal communication skills - written and verbal.

· Responsible for equipment, lab maintenance and document organization.

· Maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Education

BSEE or BS Physics.

Compensation

$72,000 to $75,000 starting per year depending on qualifications and experience.
