How would you build out our relationships with Distributors?

Keepit is looking for a Distribution Manager to join our Alliance team

We are growing fast, and we are set on using our momentum to bring our SaaS cloud-based backup services to a global audience. There is a promising route to market working in with distributors with a large network of VARs across the Americas and ANZ. We are currently working with Ingram Micro, and we are seeking a Distribution Manager to own this relationship and scale our efforts.

As Distribution Manager you will own onboarding and enabling of partners via our distributor and new distributors we add in the future. This includes sales process design, partner recruitment and enablement, and billing alignment. You will align the overall distribution strategy with our VP of Strategic Alliances, regional sales leadership and your EMEA counterpart.

Key Responsibilities include:

Drive Distribution Channel Growth: Develop and manage our relationship with Ingram Micro and relationships with new key distributors across the Americas and ANZ to accelerate partner-led revenue growth.

Enable and Support Partners: Provide onboarding, training, and continuous enablement to distribution partners to ensure they are well-equipped to promote, sell, and support Keepit’s Backup and Recovery solutions.

Align with Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Alliances teams to ensure distributors align with Keepit's go-to-market objectives, messaging, and demand generation initiatives.

Monitor and Optimize Performance: Track distributor performance using KPIs and sales metrics, and implement improvement plans to ensure targets are met or exceeded.

Manage Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth operational execution of programs, pricing, inventory, and deal registration processes in collaboration with internal stakeholders and distribution partners.

Market Intelligence & Feedback Loop: Gather insights from the distribution ecosystem to inform product, pricing, and competitive strategies, ensuring Keepit stays ahead in the market.

You will be joining our Alliance team in the US and report to our VP of Strategic Alliances. We expect you to work from a location that will make it possible to visit a key Ingram Micro location frequently or from Dallas where we have our US office.

Business Development with Distributors: The ideal candidate is an expert in developing business relationships with relevant distributors. A proven track record in Distribution will be essential.

Channel sales with distribution partners: As this is a key part of the role, the ideal candidate must know their way around using distributors for reaching VARs at scale, ideally from having done so with Ingram Micro in the past. Solid understanding of Salesforce, PRM tools, and billing systems will be a key component here.

Technical acumen: The ideal candidate can support conversations on around product catalog syndication, provisioning flows, or API capabilities.

Communication and stakeholder management: Managing internal and external stakeholders will be key for this role and the ideal candidate is an outstanding communicator that can make things happen while we build the trust that will help us be successful.
