Information Technology Support Specialist

Troy Consulting, a Management Consulting Firm, is seeking an IT Support Specialist for our client, in Redmond, Washington...the role requires you to be 100% ONSITE. Qualifications:

3+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 2 years in a procurement position.

Prior experience in a game development studio a plus!

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with Microsoft services such as Azure Active Directory and Azure DevOps.

Scripting language experience ( Python, C#, or PowerShell )

Experience in supporting multiple OSes is a bonus.

Typical Day in the Role:

Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is to create games.

Key projects: This role will contribute to technical support to ensure PCs running efficiently.

The role will consist of the following:

10%- Meetings

40%- IT support issues

30%- heads down working on lab machines for automated testing

10%- miscellaneous

Required Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft services such as Azure Active Directory and Azure DevOps.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience with a tech background, able to help with tech issues.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience with strong documentation skills.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience with scripting language experience (Python, C#, or PowerShell.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with Studio Management, various Directors and Leads to understand and act upon the studio’s IT related needs.

Perform PC Hardware procurement, setup, and recycling.

Field requests for information technology services, repairs, upgrades, support, inquires or complaints.

Manage PC and parts inventory for the studio.

Handle user account management.

Setup, maintain and run automation tests through the use of scripts across PC & Xbox

Work with the larger Microsoft IT teams to engage on best practices and working through technical concerns.
