A well-known and respected Bitcoin Mining company are looking to hire a Hardware Engineer who will oversee the operations of a hardware, firmware, and mining pool testing facility.

They are offering the chance for a Hardware Engineer with deep expertise in server-level hardware systems to join the team. This individual will be instrumental in designing, validating, and optimizing server configurations and collaborating directly with leading OEMs and component manufacturers to ensure system compatibility, compliance, and performance excellence.

Responsibilities of the Hardware Engineer include:

Own the end-to-end hardware configuration and validation process for the data center and infrastructure platforms.

Work hands-on with PSUs, PDUs, servers, CPUs, GPUs, and memory/storage subsystems.

Conduct and oversee rigorous hardware testing and validation cycles to ensure compliance and reliability at scale.

Collaborate with internal engineering and operations teams to align system design with business requirements.

Maintain and leverage strong working relationships with key ecosystem partners, including NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Samsung, Micron, and other tier-1 OEMs.

Serve as primary technical interface with OEM stakeholders to ensure alignment on hardware specifications, roadmaps, and system certifications.

Provide detailed recommendations on optimal hardware configurations based on workload requirements, thermal/power constraints, and performance goals.

Stay up to date with the latest trends in server architecture, component advancements, and industry best practices

Requirements of the Hardware Engineer include:

5+ years of experience in hardware engineering, systems integration, or a similar role in the data center or high-performance computing industry.

Proven expertise with enterprise/server-grade hardware platforms, including a strong understanding of CPUs, GPUs, memory, storage, power distribution, and thermal systems.

Demonstrated experience in system-level hardware validation, compliance testing, and troubleshooting.

Existing relationships and regular communication with stakeholders at major OEMs (e.g., NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Samsung, Micron, etc.).

Ability to interface at both a technical and strategic level with external partners to influence roadmap alignment and system design.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

The team are offering $140,000 on the base for this role, with flexibility for the right candidate.
