Position Overview:

Korn Ferry has partnered with a leading Private Equity firm seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Client Onboarding Associate to join the Investor Relations team. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new investors across our private equity and credit strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of fund structures, and the ability to navigate complex documentation requirements while providing white-glove service to institutional and high-net-worth clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for new clients during the onboarding process.

Coordinate and manage all aspects of client onboarding, including KYC/AML checks, subscription documentation, and investor portal setup.

Liaise with internal teams (Legal, Compliance, Operations, IR, and Fund Administration) to ensure accurate and timely completion of onboarding tasks.

Review and process subscription agreements and investor documents for completeness and accuracy.

Monitor and track onboarding progress, proactively identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks.

Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards throughout the onboarding lifecycle.

Maintain detailed client records and onboarding documentation in CRM and data management systems.

Support the development and continuous improvement of onboarding workflows, tools, and procedures.

Provide status updates and reporting to senior management and relationship managers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

3+ years of experience in a client onboarding, investor relations, or operations role within the private equity, credit, or broader asset management space.

Working knowledge of AML/KYC regulations and best practices.

Strong communication and relationship management skills with a client-first mindset.

Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with investor portals or CRM systems (Salesforce) is a plus.
