Compensation Range: $58-68/hr
On behalf of our banking and financial services client, we are seeking a User Experience Architect.
In this role, you will plan and design user experiences across customer-facing products and interfaces, applying user-centered design principles to deliver impactful, intuitive solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business goals and user needs into end-to-end workflows, interactions, and well-crafted UI.
Successful candidates typically have experience working in highly matrixed, enterprise environments.
Responsibilities:
Work as part of an Agile Product Team to own and account for successful product experience design and positioning.
Own and account for UI/UX design implementation of digital products and experiences.
Deliver functional, best-in-class, user-focused, competitive, and intuitive user experiences that deliver on customer and business outcomes.
Translate end-user requirements, goals, and desired outcomes into customer journeys and holistic product experiences.
Deliver experience designs, UI/UX wireframes, interaction designs, prototypes, visual design specs.
Work within a cross-functional team in an Agile/SCRUM development cycle to deliver industry-leading products.
Cultivate and share your own understanding of user problems and opportunities for improvement and participate in workshops and co-designs.
Qualifications:
8+ years of related work experience, such as UX or digital industry, outside of school or academic study projects, with at least one year of team leadership experience.
Bachelors in a design related discipline such as Web Design, Service Design, Experience Architecture or Information Architecture preferred.
Financial services, banking, or transaction design experience preferred, but not required.
Proficiency in Figma, Jira, and working in an Agile environment.
Portfolio – Must include examples that demonstrate an understanding of the design process. Candidates should be able to articulate their design rationale, how assumptions were validated, and how success was measured. While visually striking design isn’t required, a strong sense of layout should be evident. The portfolio should showcase UX architecture, interaction design principles, web usability, and the design thinking process. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
