Controller – Multi-Location Retail Industry
North Dallas, TX On-site $200K–$300K + Bonus
Service Specialists recruiting agency is seeking a Controller for a public company in the manufactured housing industry. This individual will lead financial operations at a critical phase of growth and innovation. The Controller will oversee all accounting operations, internal controls, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This individual must bring experience working in a retail environment with multiple locations—whether in automotive, furniture, manufactured housing, or similar sectors.
Responsibilities:
Lead corporate accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls across multiple retail locations
Ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC standards (public company experience preferred)
Drive monthly/quarterly/year-end close and deliver timely financial statements
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Coordinate with external auditors and tax partners
Manage and mentor a high-performing accounting team
Collaborate closely with operations and executive leadership
Qualifications:
Extensive accounting experience in a multi-location retail environment (manufactured homes, auto, furniture, consumer goods, etc.)
Public company experience strongly preferred
CPA preferred; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
Skilled in financial systems, operational finance, and team leadership
Based in or willing to relocate to Carrollton, TX
