Staff Mobile Architect (React Native)

Our client is a well-established creative technology company known for building tools that empower visual storytellers. They are in the early stages of building a next-generation cross-platform mobile experience.

They are on the search for a Staff Software Engineer to own the architectural decisions, making strategic improvements for performance, reliability, and security.

This is a high-impact role focused on architecting and delivering a performant, reliable mobile platform used by a global creative community.

What You'll Do

Lead the architecture and development of a high quality and scalable React Native mobile app from scratch.

Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers.

Implement best practices for testing, CI/CD, and mobile code quality.

Mentor other engineers and help shape the engineering culture.

Influence the technical roadmap and contribute to long-term platform strategy.

What We’re Looking For

10+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years with React Native

Previous experience with native mobile development (iOS or Android)

Deep proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end tooling.

Strong understanding of mobile design principles and performance optimization.

Experience integrating with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

Familiarity with state management (e.g., Redux) and asynchronous programming.

Comfort working in an agile, cross-functional team environment.

Strong communication skills and an ability to lead by influence.
