Software Engineer

Our Client, a leader in commercial real estate and facilities/asset management is seeking to add a Software Engineer to its team. This role will work hybrid in Richardson, TX and works Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. This role starts as a 6-month contract and pays $50.80 per hour. The key to this role is knowledge of figma designs, UX storybook.

Job Responsibilities:

Build responsive web applications using Angular or React.

Implement UI from Figma designs and UX storybooks.

Set up and work with Golang or Python backends locally.

Integrate and debug REST APIs using tools like Postman.

Write and maintain UI unit tests.

Show interest or knowledge in Gen AI technologies.

Run basic PostgreSQL queries for data access and debugging.

Participate in peer code reviews and resolve feedback professionally.

Work with QA to fix bugs and ensure product quality.

Follow JIRA processes and contribute to sprint activities.

Support the deployment process and releases.

Apply basic debugging to identify and resolve issues.

Required Skills:

3–5 years of front-end development experience

Strong understanding of Figma designs and UX storybooks

Proficient in front-end technologies, with expertise in Angular (preferred) or React

Ability to set up and integrate with Golang or Python backends

Solid grasp of RESTful APIs; skilled in using Postman for debugging and testing

Working knowledge of SQL/PostgreSQL

Familiar with JIRA and Agile development workflows

Preferred Skills:

Undergrad degree in computer science or software engineering preferred

Micro front-end architecture understanding
