Data-Warehouse/ Data-Mart Engineer (SQL/ PL/SQL, ETL)

Duration: 6 months initial contract - W2 only + possible extension

No C2C/ Corp to Corp/ 1099

Need candidates in local to San Jose, CA and/or nearby. Onsite interview.

No functional and cloud side and data analyst.

More interested in people who have ETL developer, SQL database developer, DWH/ Data-mart background

Job Description:

Need a senior candidate - majorly supporting the back end development / Bug Fixes / enhancements for the dashboards for various business teams

Working with different business channel partners/sales data, salesforce/ crm is a plus

Looking for someone in strong SQL expr, heavy in PL/SQL solutions, analytical skills

Data warehousing background- creating data mart solutions - required good warehousing concepts - solid in the back end side to creating these solutions

Develop/performance tune complex SQL (PL/SQL and/or T-SQL) queries and stored procedures.

Create single source /data layers; structures for 1 or 2 tables, exiting data source and how the data is being used/reporting

Create new query to build a dashboard for Business active customers

Do pull requests and deploying code to different environments

Tableau should be able to open it up and review it - at least in dash-boarding (using tableau-to make changes)

Scripting is a plus like airflow, fronttab but to understand how these scripts work

Requirements

7-10 years of experience with Database Development using Packages/Stored Procedures/Triggers in SQL and PLSQL

7-10 years of experience in Dimensional Modeling, Star and Snowflake Schemas design and maintaining dimensions using Slowly Changing Dimensions(SCD)

7+ years of experience in SQL performance tuning and optimization techniques

Ability to work on on ad-hoc requests and should be able to work on simultaneous projects or tasks

Effective and positive communication and Team working skills.
