About the Role

Are you a hands-on AWS infrastructure expert who thrives at building scalable platforms and leading technical direction? We’re looking for a Staff / Principal Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to drive the next evolution of our fintech platform as we double down on AI and cloud-native technologies.

This isn’t just a build role—it’s a leadership opportunity to guide a high-performing team (including offshore) and shape our cloud infrastructure strategy for the new AI world and make a real impact in a highly regulated fintech environment.

What You’ll Do

Design, build, and manage scalable, and highly available AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Crossplane, etc.).

Champion an automation-first approach across cloud provisioning, CI/CD workflows, and infrastructure lifecycle management.

Lead platform engineering efforts to enable product teams to move fast with guardrails, not gates.

Optimize infrastructure for performance, cost, and reliability using observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, kubecost, etc.)

Collaborate with hybrid and global offshore teams to build and maintain core cloud services.

Ensure operational excellence through strong observability, well-documented runbooks, incident response, and a blameless postmortem culture.

Contribute to our cloud-native and AI-first strategy, integrating modern tools and practices from the CNCF ecosystem.

What You Bring

Lead with a High-Impact Mindset and Automation-First approach to drive Platform Engineering and Engineering Excellence and embody a Cloud-Native & AI-First philosophy. You're all about getting work done — fast, smart, and right.

Cloud Infrastructure SME: 8+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Infra / DevOps / SRE, including 3+ years leading AWS-based solutions at scale. You know the cloud like a second language.

Architect & Automator: Deep expertise in cloud architecture and automation, with a strong preference for Terraform, Crossplane, and CNCF ecosystem tools. You don’t just build—you automate, scale, and optimize.

Proven People Leader: You’ve successfully led hybrid and globally distributed teams, including offshore collaboration. You inspire, align, and deliver across time zones.

Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills – you’re as comfortable in code as you are in conversations.

Regulatory-Ready: Bonus points if you’ve navigated fintech or regulated environments—you understand what it takes to build secure, compliant, and resilient systems from the ground up.
