Embedded Software Engineer with Security Clearance

Our aerospace client is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for being a strategic leader in the development of cutting-edge System-on-a-Chip (SoC) for a military communication application for the Department of Defense. Location: San Diego, CA 92128 (Onsite)

Position: Embedded Software Engineer

Pay Rate: $55/hr. - $155/hr. on W2 (DOE)

Duration: 7 months or longer

Schedule: 9x80 A

Shift: 1st Shift (M-F, potential overtime) OVERVIEW:

Looking for an Embedded Software/Systems Engineer local to San Diego, CA. This person will be responsible for being a strategic leader in the development of cutting-edge System-on-a-Chip (SoC) for a military communication application for the Department of Defense. The individual selected for the role will be a subject matter expert in SoC development and should be able to provide thought leadership and insight into the continued development of new SoC systems. This role will require individuals to obtain a DoD secret clearance (or higher level) upon hire for this role. RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Provide thought leadership in the development of cutting-edge System-on-a-Chip (SoC) for a military communication application for the Department of Defense.

-Act as subject matter expert in SoC development and provide thought leadership and insight into the continued development of new SoC systems.

-Typical day look like: Hands-on embedded software development.

-Technical Environment: SW/HW development in office and lab environment. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

-US Citizenship is required.

-Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance per business requirements.

-Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 15 years of experience.

-Experience with full lifecycle System-on-a-Chip (SoC) development and specializing in SoC architecture.

-Experience working with software-defined radios. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

-Active SECRET clearance.

-Working knowledge of Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset development.
