Overview:

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced SharePoint Developer to play a key role in configuring, customizing, and maintaining our SharePoint Online environment and related technologies. This is a direct-hire, hybrid position based in Phoenix, AZ, offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience.

As a SharePoint Developer, you will be instrumental in improving our business processes, workflows, and user experience through the strategic development and support of our online applications and infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with various departments to understand their needs and implement effective solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee the development, maintenance, and governance of our cloud-based SharePoint site, including lists, libraries, forms, reports, and workflows.

Develop and maintain connections between cloud and on-premises systems, including SQL Server, Power Apps, and other Azure/Microsoft 365 services.

Write and execute SQL queries and develop reports and integrations with other business applications.

Maintain and update our intranet and corporate websites, ensuring consistent design and user experience.

Analyze business operations and systems to identify opportunities for improvement in application and user efficiency.

Develop and implement software applications that align with business processes and procedures.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software, data, and system integrations.

Assist in training users on new processes and system functionalities.

Contribute to the creation and maintenance of version control and testing processes.

Manage and maintain the integrity and security of company data within SharePoint sites.

Foster strong communication and collaboration within the team and across departments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Work Experience

Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or equivalent relevant experience.

5+ years of industry experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience with:

SharePoint Online administration and development.

Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 ecosystems.

MS-SQL Server, including writing queries and developing reports.

Building and customizing forms and workflows.

Familiarity with SharePoint on-premises environments is a plus.

Experience with Microsoft Copilot and natural language processing is a plus.

Strong knowledge and experience with the following technologies (preferred):

C# and .NET Framework.

UI/UX Design principles.

ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.

Power BI and Power Apps.

Proven experience with middleware, data management, and integration technologies (e.g., APIs, ETLs).

Understanding of SaaS, SQL, web application management, Azure, and AWS.

Background in the construction industry is preferred.

Experience with Salesforce CRM, Boomi or other middleware, Planful, and web/mobile solutions and integration is helpful.

Relevant Microsoft certifications are a plus.

Ability to operate successfully and independently in a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment.

Experience with both on-premises and cloud infrastructure.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Commitment to providing priority customer support (internal and external).

Demonstrated ability to work independently, as part of a team, and support other corporate departments.

Excellent communication skills to effectively support company-wide offices and end-users.

Ability to travel up to 10% to local and out-of-state offices and job sites, including overnight stays if required.
