Controller

StevenDouglas has been retained on a unique Controller search in Austin, Texas. This role will be working in hybrid capacity.

Our client is seeking a "Player-Coach", the individual who sees the value of placing time into their team in order to provide them with a learning opportunity, which essentially keeps them motivated. There is a degree of patience required for this.

Reporting to the VP, the Controller position is critical to the financial operations of this business. This position is responsible for the full range of accounting, tax and payroll functions performed within the department, including adherence to proper internal controls, a timely financial close process, and the full range of accounting and finance support functions for fellow team members.

Full range of accounting, tax, and payroll functions

Adherence to proper internal controls

Timely financial close process

Accounting and finance support functions for team members

Qualifications -

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

CPA license is preferred.

Minimum 10 years of experience including supervisory.

Multi-location experience strongly preferred.

Strong working GAAP knowledge. ERP system experience.

System implementation experience preferred
