Analog Test Engineer
Fremont, CA
Responsibilities:
Develop and automate test programs for ADCs, DACs, and other analog circuits, focusing on bring-up, characterization, and debugging.
Design and execute test methodologies to evaluate analog circuit performance and validate key specifications.
Develop scripts to streamline testing processes, automate data capture, and enhance efficiency in production testing.
Analyze large data sets to extract insights on product performance, identify failure trends, and drive improvements in test methodologies.
Collaborate with design and validation teams to optimize test setups and enhance debugging efficiency.
Work with ATE platforms, supporting production test development when needed.
Requirements:
MS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5–10 years of industry experience, or PhD in analog/mixed-signal design with fewer years of experience
Strong programming skills (Python, C) for test automation
Strong hands-on experience in bench testing, chip bring-up, and characterization
Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills for complex analog circuits
Experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators) and data analysis tools (Python, MATLAB, JMP) preferred
Deep understanding of analog testing principles and experience in automated test development
Familiarity with ATE and production test methodologies is a plus
Proven problem-solving abilities and collaborative work style to support cross-functional projects
