Our client is seeking a Project Manager with experience implementing Business Process Automation projects. This is an onsite role in Marietta (Atlanta), GA. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of contract to hire. Need local candidates only.
Experience with Appian, ServiceNow, and UiPath is required.
The Project Manager will oversee projects related to evaluating and documenting business processes, using an iBPMs low-code platform, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to digitize processes for our Shared Services Center and field personnel.
The PM will leverage an entrepreneurial spirit, process knowledge, technology awareness, and leadership skills to manage and grow the Automation Center of Excellence (CoE) around the chosen technologies.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with key business users and process owners to lead the analysis of as-is business processes and workflows, and collaborate with Business subject matter experts (SMEs) and Quality specialists to define to-be processes in a digital environment.
Essential Job Functions
Assist and guide process design to enable standardization of the “to-be” business process and help define use cases that prove the standardization. Work with business SMEs to simplify the process for more efficient throughput of work products to achieve the desired business outcome. After implementation, co-lead analysis for stabilization and further refinement for process efficiency using Lean Six Sigma techniques with the Quality team.
Collaborate with process managers, quality, and key business users to model optimized processes.
Break down complex business processes into manageable components and identify key drivers of the sub-processes.
Impact business outcomes through new process designs.
Conduct process requirements sessions with the Quality team and key business users, and deliver business requirements documents to process owners and Automation function leadership.
Work with IT technical development staff to develop data acquisition interfaces to enable workflow designs.
Utilize the selected Business Process Management System/Suite (BPMS) platform to create process models using up-to-date Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) & Decision Model and Notation (DMN) standards.
Utilize the selected low-code platform for creating 2 and 3 tiered complex data models, user forms, user groups, and business rules.
Perform proof of concepts to help the business recognize the feasibility of an automated solution. Help draft financial business cases to support the PoC.
Collaborate with IT professionals for necessary integrations and RPA functions.
Lead triage analysis for both Business Process Management Workflows and RPA-related automated functions & processes.
Conduct unit & integration testing of solutions; plan and coordinate user acceptance testing.
Provide functional application production support for issues related to the automated processes and BPM platform.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Deep working knowledge of Appian, ServiceNow, and UiPath automation platforms.
Desire to work with diverse groups to identify opportunities for automation and new technologies.
Strong design thinking skills, with the ability to think outside the box to create value for customers.
Fluent in English.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate solutions to customers.
Ability to work within a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Experience in manufacturing accounting/finance processes.
Hands-on experience in leading Business Process Automation, RPA, and workflow management (WFM) applications.
Experience driving user adoption of workflow management and robotic automation.
Effective data modeling experience with relational databases.
Proficiency in REST APIs and authentication methods for system integration.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
5+ years of hands-on experience in Business Process Automation.
