Quality Assurance Engineer - Remote, USA Responsibilities Develop comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases to ensure high-quality software and hardware testing.

Review, analyze, and provide timely feedback on requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.

Identify, document, and track defects, conduct root cause analysis, and verify issue resolution to meet customer expectations.

Aid in the development of new tools to improve test execution and reporting.

Deploy and manage CI/CD test infrastructure to support continuous integration and testing.

Develop automated tests as part of the continuous integration system to minimize regression cycle time.

Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and support evolving software features.

Utilize industry-standard automation frameworks such as Selenium and Playwright.

Investigate and analyze defects found in production, identifying gaps in test coverage and improving test strategies accordingly.

Use code coverage tools to analyze and expand test coverage.

Report commit IDs that introduce regression issues to improve software reliability.

Debug and troubleshoot issues while working collaboratively with engineering teams.

Requirements Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Network and Digital Technology, or a related field.

Scripting experience with languages like PowerShell and Python.

Basic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts with experience in C#, JavaScript, or Java.

Experience automating REST API testing.

Proficiency in SQL for database validation and query testing.

Hands-on experience with Git for version control and collaborative development.

Additional Skills (preferred) Knowledge of digital audio and video formats, codecs, and metadata standards.

Understanding of object-oriented programming design patterns, and relational database design.

Familiarity with virtualization and containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and VM hypervisors for test environments.

Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and experience with Linux and Windows environments.

Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Self-starter with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
