Desktop Support Technician

Precision Resources, a division of the Trimarc Group Inc. is currently searching for an experienced Desktop Support Technician to join a client in Cerritos, California. This is a contract to permanent opportunity that is scheduled to start ASAP.

Position Summary:

The chosen individual will work onsite (Mon-Fri; 8A-5P) and will be experienced with troubleshooting software and hardware problems, ensuring smooth operation of the technology used throughout the facility. (Intune, Dameware, Active Directory, Entra ID, ServiceNow)

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Assistance: Troubleshooting software and hardware problems.

Software Support: Providing support for software applications.

Network Support: Addressing network-related issues.

Hardware Support: Assisting with hardware problems like computer malfunctions or printer issues.

System Administration: Maintaining and administering systems used by the organization.

Knowledge Base Maintenance: Contributing to and maintaining a knowledge base of common technical issues and solutions.

Training: Providing training to employees on new technologies or troubleshooting techniques.

Escalation: Escalating complex technical issues to higher-level IT support teams when necessary.

Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networking.

Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical issues to employees.

Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other IT support staff.

Qualified candidates must have a US Citizenship or Green Card.
