Remedy, a Division of Employbridge, is thrilled to partner with a specialty product manufacturer located in the Southtowns area as they attempt to fill a Maintenance Technician role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing corrective, predictive, and preventive maintenance to all production and support equipment. Please see below for some great details!

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Type: Full-time/Direct Hire

Location: Blasdell, NY

Hours: D Shift: Thursday-Saturday 6:00pm-6:30am

Pay: $34-40/hour

Essential Duties for this Maintenance Technician Include:

Troubleshoot mechanical and process control systems

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of manufacturing equipment which includes electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Knowledge of PLC’s, HMI’s, VFD’s, AC/DC motors, HVAC blower systems, and plumbing and piping systems

Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, install and update basic electrical systems and components.

We're looking for a Maintenance Technician with the following background profile/skillset:

At least 2 years of prior maintenance in a manufacturing setting

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Technical School education/training in Electro-mechanical, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or Electrical preferred).
