Mortgage Loan Processor

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled loan processor to join our top-producing team and work alongside our loan officers and loan team. This position requires a unique mix of sales and customer service skills, plus the ability to manage loan files from beginning to end. Effective communication skills are essential for building relationships that help us obtain future business.

Responsibilities

Assemble loan documentation as required necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork. Process a loan from start to finish with care, compassion, accuracy and speed

Follow up and respond to customer and in-house inquiries on transactions as needed in order to provide superior customer service

Understand investor guidelines and how to research, question and strategize.

Perform income calculations.

Check all loan package documents for complete accuracy

Learn all aspects of a process from lead to funding - utility player

Assist with administrative duties as needed such as making and screening calls, booking appointments, etc

Ensure data integrity and security is managed within company software systems

Will be a utility player. Job will include learning other loan related tasks and roles to ensure an agile team.

Qualifications

At least 2+ years of loan processing in an office environment required. Experience working with a mortgage broker is preferred
