We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Media Services Game Night Assistant to assist team members with media services and game night media operations for home games for the Suns and Mercury.
What You Will Do:
Assist with game day setup of the media room, credential table and media seating areas
Run box scores and any additional pertinent game day information to media members and broadcasters working the game
Record and transcribe media availabilities – including pregame and postgame by Suns and opposing team’s coaches and players, and post-practice by Suns coach and player(s)
Assist with the credential table for each home game
Assist with occasional non-gameday press conferences, including welcoming media at media check-in desk and microphone passing for media questions
Assembling welcome gift bags for visiting teams and traveling media
What We Need From Our Media Services Game Night Assistant:
Must be able to effectively communicate with fellow members of the game night staff and the Suns and Mercury Communications Department
Must be service-oriented with a positive attitude and approach in interactions with media members
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and remain flexible to assist the communications team with evolving project needs
Must conduct self in a professional and objective manner
Must be able to take direction and apply directions quickly and effectively
Experience/ Education Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Previous experience around game-night settings at the professional or collegiate levels is preferred, but not required

Ability to transit throughout the arena for long periods of time.
This position works mainly indoors, removed from extreme weather; exposure to weather is <5%
S-Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
Must be able to carry on a conversation both on the phone and in-person.
