Shop Helper

Job Title: Shop Helper

Location: Catawba, SC

Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Overtime: Required

Shop Helper Responsibilities:

Associates will be trained in several different departments including material handling, shear operator, and manual bender machine.

Candidates should be comfortable working in a smaller warehouse and wearing many hats.

Must be open to working weekends.

Candidates should have good math skills and be willing to learn how to operate different equipment such as overhead cranes and large forklifts.

Must have Metatarsal steel-toe boots.

Ability to work in a heavy manual labor position.

Must be able to handle extreme changes in temperature (HOT/COLD).

Shop Helper Requirements:

Applicants MUST HAVE experience working with metal, steel, and/or rebar.

Heavy lifting capability.

Good math skills.

Willingness to learn and operate various equipment.

Flexibility to work weekends.

Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
