ICD- Inventory Control Department Associate
We are currently seeking an action-oriented and results-driven Inventory/Warehousing Assistant with proven experience within the inventory management warehousing environment.
Duties:
Stocking and pulling computer parts.
Accurately recording quantities and locations within our inventory systems. (SAP)
Performing weekly cycle counts on selected inventoried parts.
Working closely with the Inventory Control Supervisor to create and implement quality objectives to ensure accuracy.
Maintain an organized and accurate warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
3 – 5 years inventory control experience, preferably in a computer related field.
Passionate with strong drive and results focus
Proven ability to effectively work in a very fast-paced, constantly changing environment with a “roll up the sleeves” mentality.
Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of fundamental inventory control concepts.
Ability to be proactive and take initiative to improve processes within the departments.
Ability to work the hours necessary to get the job done.
Strong computer skills, preferably in SAP.
Forklift driving experience
Experience: handling, storing, and shipping materials or supplies; operating material handling equipment (MHE) is preferred; accessing information on a computer; reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness.
Ability to perform but not limited to: be trained on the operation MHE; bend, stoop, lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds; stand and walk continuously throughout an 8 hour shift; work in dusty and dirty conditions.
