We currently have open Rotation Engineer positions in the Systems Engineering area at our Pontiac, Michigan location.
The Opportunity
Recent college graduates that enter Williams International’s Systems Rotational Engineering Program can expect to spend approximately six months’ time in each of two to three different engineering areas (depending upon previous coursework/experience). The rotation programs are coordinated with each individual engineer and typically include systems requirements, safety, reliability, project engineering, testing or analysis. At the end of the rotations, the engineer is placed into a regular systems engineering assignment. These assignments are coordinated with the rotation engineer and typically intended to meet both the corporation’s and the individual’s needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Systems, Electrical, Mechanical or Aerospace preferred), Mathematics or Statistics with a preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
Coursework could include systems or digital engineering
Previous exposure to Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods and software tools, preferred
One to two summer intern or co-op experiences in an engineering environment, preferred
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are required
Interest in a products function, maintainability, reliability and safety
Must be proficient in use of Microsoft office tools
Previous exposure to NX is a plus
U.S. Citizenship is required
Position requires the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U. S.
