Procurement Analyst will provide support for the Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Management team at Atlantic Union Bank, specifically the Contingent Worker and Enterprise Insurance Centers of Excellence. The role will focus on contingent worker lifecycle, management including sourcing, cost analysis, hiring, onboarding, supplier management, offboarding, process management, compliance and other related tasks needed to support the strategic objectives of our business units. This individual will be a key resource for the team, ensuring that the team has the information needed to make sound supply chain decisions for the Bank. He or she will be responsible for conducting analysis on a wide-ranging group of activities.
Position Accountabilities
Providing education, partnership, and though leadership to Contingent Worker initiative enterprise wide
Conducting data collection efforts and complex baseline building from unstructured data
Preparing and assessing potential sourcing scenario models
Performing financial due-diligence and third party background checks on suppliers
Performing industry research and analysis, in partnership with staffing and consulting partners
Developing and maintaining detail spend analysis for existing supplier spend
Developing and track key performance measures for the team
Recommending sourcing/contracting opportunities
Performing SOX/SOC reviews to highlight key risks
Owning personal development to continually strengthen analytical skills
Training others on analytical tips and tactics
Organizational Relationship
The position reports to the Director of Contingent Worker Program and Enterprise Insurance.
Position Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human resources, business, supply chain or equivalent military experience
Minimum 5 years’ equivalent job-related experience with emphasis on staffing
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Preferred: 7 years’ equivalent job-related experience (e.g. staffing, human recourses, vendor management or recruiting)
Knowledge & Skills
Vendor management or applicant tracking experience
Passion and relentless drive to problem-solve for the business
Exceptional communication and relationship management skills needed to assess the market place and perform cost/benefit analyses
Ability to communicate to educate and compel action to small and large groups
PC proficiency in Microsoft Office, including: Excel (advanced skills), Word, Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint, Adobe, Vendor management, VNDLY, SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, UKG Pro or similar
Systematically use data analysis and statistical methods
Ability to interpret data
Ability to present process flow in a concise/easy to consume manner
Report generation skills
