Mesa seeks a Smart Design Tools Group Lead for our 3D design team. Responsibilities:
Serve as a Quality champion for Mesa and our 3D Design and Development Team. Incorporate your team’s input and recommendations into Mesa’s Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives.
Foster strong external and internal customer relationships through communications and customer service excellence.
Build a partnership with internal clients to assist them in supporting their external clients to achieve their 3D goals.
Work with all external and internal clients to establish best practices and assist with implementing Substation Design Suite P4A, P4I, Inventor, or other 3D Substation Design Applications to help them achieve their 3D Design goals.
Work with the Director on estimating and preparing bid packages to build Mesa quality and excellence into every customer project we deliver.
Represent Mesa at conferences and networking events related to 3D Design Tools.
Attend scoping meetings and site visits as required and seek ways to deliver value for our customers through our collective design experience and project management skills.
Desire and interest in cross-training in additional disciplines for your continuing professional growth.
Build upon Mesa’s Safety Culture through team exercises and leadership by example. Empower those around you to continue building and strengthening Mesa’s Safety Program.
Monitor and control your team’s overall budgets and regularly conduct evaluations of efforts with your team members to ensure success. This will include providing weekly feedback to your team members on their performance and championing their professional growth and development as part of each project’s scope of work.
Demonstrate your commitment to our external and internal customers and your team members (e.g., willingness to work overtime as required to support your customers’ needs.)

3D Modeling
Substation Design Suite Software
AutoDesk
Vault
Qualifications Preferred:
Autocad Ver 2019 or higher – Intermediate or higher
SDS P4A and P4I Inventor 3D Substation modeling experience
