Lecturer

The Department of Design Studies in the Faculty of Arts and Design has a Part-Time position for Lecturer at Arts Campus.

Core functions: • Conduct lectures and tutorials at postgraduate levels.

• Supervise research activities of Master's and Doctoral students.

• Engage in departmental research projects and contribute to academic publications.

• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.

• Any other reasonable duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Minimum Requirements: 1.

Academic qualifications: • Doctorate degree (PhD/D-Tech) in Fashion Design 2.

Experience: • Proven track record of supervising Master's and Doctoral (PhD) students to completion.

• Minimum of four (4) peer-reviewed publications in DHET-accredited journals.

• Evidence of ongoing research activities and projects.

• Ability to engage students through innovative teaching methodologies.
