Shift: 8 hours a day, 2 Nurses are needed (Morning and Evening)

Job Summary:

Home in the Heart Healthcare Agency is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Private Duty Nurse to provide one-on-one, in-home nursing care for pediatric patient with medical complexities. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality nursing care, monitor patient conditions, and support families in managing their child's health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care, including administering medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.

Monitor vital signs, respiratory function, and overall patient well-being.

Assist with tracheostomy care, ventilator management, gastrostomy tube care, and other specialized medical needs.

Educate and support families on care techniques and medical equipment usage.

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient status and nursing interventions.

Respond to emergency situations and follow proper protocols.

Qualifications:

License: Active RN-License

Experience: Pediatric experience preferred; private duty or home health experience is a plus.

Certifications: CPR, BLS, and other relevant certifications.

Strong clinical skills in pediatric nursing and ability to work independently.

Compassionate, patient-centered approach with excellent communication skills.
