Perform a wide range of machine shop jobs such as inspecting, measuring, engine rebuilds and machining,
reconditioning of blocks, heads, crankshafts, flywheels, drums, rotors, install cylinder sleeves, deck cylinder
blocks, rebuild cylinder heads, and disassemble/assembling all types of engines
Perform many other machining jobs, lathe and mill work, shaft repair, thread repair and turning, keyways, and
repairing worn bores
Must be able to manually perform these tasks
Effectively manage multiple repairs simultaneously
Maintain strong communication with Shop Manager and Service Writer throughout a project
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team.
Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and achieves results with little oversight.
Understand our customers unique needs and create engine machining solutions to meet those needs
Identify appropriate repairs and keep record of repair details and complete necessary paperwork for billing
purposes
Implement an effective quality check process by inspecting repaired items and ensuring the repair is up to
standards
Provide updates to the service writer for them to communicate accordingly to the customers throughout the
process.
Expertly and safely operate and maintain machine shop equipment
Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damage where needed.
Maintain a clean work environment for employee safety and customer presentation. To include but not limited to regular cleaning of tools and equipment, cleaning floors, emptying trash and assisting in arranging the shop where needed.
You may be asked to assist the Truck Shop with repairs, based on your previous experience. This will be assigned as needed as we continue to expand both businesses.

Manual dexterity skills adequate for performing machining and assembly operations
Standing, lifting, twisting, bending, walking, and sitting
Computer knowledge and proficiency
Ability to stand, walk, sit for a prolonged period
Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds
Full-time
