Job Description:

Job Summary:

The NDT Assistant will assist NDT Technicians by setting up equipment for daily use, perform data entry, and complete paperwork to expedite the process for the Technicians.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Data Entry into the ERP system

Research technical data

Start and prep machines and equipment for daily use

Clean, organize, and prep work areas

Prepare raw materials for processing

NDT testing equipment

Document work performed

Utilize the proper PPE when applicable

Interface with responsible peers and Level III

Perform additional duties as directed by the Supervisor

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or an Equivalent

Skills and Abilities:

Strong Microsoft Office skills

Proficient in the English language

Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

Must have the flexibility to work any shift, including occasional weekends as necessary to meet deadlines

Attention to Detail and accuracy is imperative

Critical thinking

Active Listening and Learning

Time Management

Successful completion of a comprehensive background check, verification of credentials and pre-employment drug test per DOT regulations.

Physical Requirements:

May occasionally be required to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
