Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manager of Contracts and Purchasing to oversee the administration of contracts and ensure efficient operational support within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of contract management processes.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Contracts Management
Manage the contracting process across the GKFF® and TCF ecosystems
Administer all contracts prepared and executed for our use (vendors, independent contractors, sponsorship)
Lead the implementation of new contract management system
Project manage the customization of a workflow within the system for new contract generation according to prescribed templates, from initial request through execution
Implement contract standardization and expediency wherever practical
Work to sensibly reduce legal expense on contracts
Assess rigor of specified scopes of work/deliverables and provide feedback to business owner where necessary
Ensure all contracts are properly approved and follow recommended guidelines
Implement and maintain contract database, including monitoring of contract terms/expiration
Purchasing Management
Identify opportunities to consolidate purchasing to reduce spend
Participate in negotiation process for any purchases over $50,000
Prepare and distribute guidelines for effective purchasing
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
Associate’s degree is required; bachelor's degree preferred
Proven experience in contract management and administrative services
Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Proficiency in technology skills such as Microsoft 365, ASANA, and Slack
Ability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit in front of a computer monitor for multiple hours at a time
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a professional manner
Ability to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs without assistance
Hours and Location
This position is a fully in-person position based at 7030 S. Yale Ave., Suite 600, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74136
A typical work week is Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The work week will occasionally vary with advance notice depending on scheduled programming and other events; on occasion, may require early start, late evening or weekend hours
Domestic travel required on occasion
