The Role Join our IT team as a Sr.
Solutions Architect, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving innovation and enabling business growth through strategic software solutions.
In this high-impact position, you will collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement and lead the design and implementation of applications that align with organizational goals.
In addition to identifying and deploying the most relevant applications for the business and coordinating installation, the Sr.
Solutions Architect will provide systems-related technical support and problem resolution by reviewing issues and providing relevant solutions.
This role will be forward thinking and responsible for creating, developing, and overseeing protocol and establishing best practices for system usage.
This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence in the Danbury, CT corporate office 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
Design, modify, and test technical architecture
Provide supervision and guidance to development teams
Continually research the current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed
Inform various stakeholders about any issues with the current technical solutions being implemented
Assess the business impact that certain technical choices have
Provide updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs and budgets
Troubleshoot and resolve systems issues
Other projects and duties as assigned
Qualifications
A bachelor's or graduate's degree in programming, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field. Education requirement may be substituted with demonstrated commensurate experience.
5+ years’ experience in a technical role
1–2 years of people leadership experience, including mentoring or supervising development teams
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to translate business needs into solutions
Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server)
Experience with project management
In-depth knowledge, understanding, and experience with coding languages (Java a plus)
The ability to remain up-to-date with the latest software developments
Great analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
After-hours and weekend work will be required for project implementations, incident response, etc.
This role may require travel up to 10% to other company locations (domestic and international)
