Commercial Electrician Apprentice Needed!

TradeCorp is actively hiring Electrician Apprentices.

Compensation:

Pay Rate Range: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour (based on skill level)

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs: This includes tasks such as running wires, installing outlets, and connecting devices.

Learning about electrical codes and safety regulations: Apprentices will learn about the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant standards.

Using tools and equipment: This may include hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.

Reading and understanding blueprints and schematics: Apprentices will learn to interpret electrical diagrams and plans.

Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical problems: They will learn to identify and resolve issues with electrical systems.

Maintaining tools and equipment: Keeping work areas clean and organized.

Learning about different types of electrical systems: This may include residential, commercial, and industrial systems.

Participating in training programs: Apprenticeship programs often include classroom instruction and on-the-job training.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent: A high school diploma or GED certificate is generally required.

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn: Apprentices need to be dedicated to learning the trade and following instructions.

Physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions: Electrician work can involve manual labor, working in different environments, and potentially working at heights.

Basic math skills: Understanding math concepts is important for calculations and measurements.

Good communication skills: Apprentices need to be able to communicate effectively with other members of the team and clients.

Problem-solving skills: The ability to diagnose and resolve electrical problems is essential.

Attention to detail: Precise work and attention to detail are crucial in the electrical trade.
