Job Type: Full-time/Direct Hire

Location: Sanborn, NY

Hours: 1st Shift: Monday to Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Salary:$80,000-100,000k/yr

The Machine Design Engineer will be responsible for the following:

Sketches rough layout of machine and computes angles, weights, surface areas, dimensions, radii, clearances, tolerances, leverages, and location of holes.

Makes final sketch of proposed drawing, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project.

Uses SolidWorks CAD equipment and software to develop designs.

Create and revise production drawings

We're looking for Machine Design Engineer who possess the following background:

3 + years of experience in similar role

A.S. or B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering field or 10+ years of Machine Design Experience

Knowledge of solid modeling software, SolidWorks preferred.

Strong knowledge of GD&T, capable of reading and interpreting
