DAn Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator IV to support enterprise-level database environments. This position is ideal for an advanced technical professional who serves as an emerging authority in the field and thrives in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.Job Summary:

The Database Administrator IV is responsible for maintaining the integrity, security, and availability of multiple databases across the organization. This role involves designing and implementing database solutions to complex technical challenges, with considerable autonomy in determining technical objectives and methodologies.Key Responsibilities:

Maintain the performance, security, and integrity of enterprise database systems.

Perform disaster recovery planning and execution, performance analysis, tuning, index management, and proactive system monitoring.

Develop, implement, and enforce database policies, procedures, and standards to ensure optimal performance and data protection.

Evaluate, test, and recommend DBMS tools, utilities, and products.

Administer and support Oracle, SQL Server, SYBASE, and other DBMS platforms.

Perform full lifecycle database management activities including upgrades, patching, configuration, and migration.

Organize and format data to optimize storage and access efficiency.

Support data modeling and integration with application development teams.

Ensure compliance with business and security requirements through structured database management.Minimum Qualifications:

Education & Experience (One of the following combinations):

High School Diploma/GED + 12 years of related experience

Associate's Degree + 10 years of related experience

Bachelor's Degree + 8 years of related experience

Master's Degree + 6 years of related experience

PhD + 4 years of related experienceRequired Clearance:

Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph or willingness to take a polygraph is required.Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Proven expertise in database administration for Oracle, SQL Server, and/or SYBASE environments.

Strong understanding of database architecture, optimization, and security best practices.

Experience in scripting and automation of routine database tasks.

Ability to work independently and lead technical efforts as needed.

Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
