Location: Minneapolis, MN

Wage: $30/hr.

Hours:

2nd Shift: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am, Monday - Friday

Duties of the tool and die maker:

Plan, design, construct, or repair intricate and complex tools, dies, jigs, gauges, and fixtures to close tolerances.

Select allowances and devise mechanism details to meet exact specifications.

Operate advanced toolroom machinery, including CAD/KEY, CNC lathe, and other cutting-edge technologies.

Interpret and work from complex drawings and sketches.

Utilize advanced shop mathematics and precision measuring instruments.

Requirements of the tool and die maker:

Minimum of 4 years of experience as a toolmaker, with expertise in forming dies, semi-permanent dies, and layout work.

Strong knowledge of short-run stamping tooling and progressive dies.

High-level experience with machine shop practices and trade skills.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
