Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Washington, District of Columbia. This position will play a pivotal role in supporting a SharePoint modernization initiative, ensuring business requirements are met and fostering collaboration between internal stakeholders and external vendors. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in SharePoint environments and a strong ability to bridge technical and business needs.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for the SharePoint modernization project.
• Work closely with SharePoint champions to define the site structure, layout, and user experience for the redesigned environment.
• Facilitate planning and execution of content cleanup and reorganization activities to streamline usability.
• Ensure that the updated SharePoint platform aligns with organizational objectives, enhances collaboration, and improves resource accessibility.
• Act as the primary liaison between the organization and the external vendor to ensure project goals are achieved effectively.
• Participate in regular project meetings, providing updates and addressing issues to maintain progress.
• Support the design phase by offering insights and recommendations based on business needs and technical feasibility.
• Monitor and evaluate the implementation process to ensure quality and adherence to agreed-upon standards.
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on the new SharePoint features and functionalities.• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on SharePoint environments.
• Deep understanding of SharePoint Online (O365), including content migration, site architecture, and user experience design.
• Proficiency in tools such as Atlassian Jira and familiarity with cloud technologies.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems effectively.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Knowledge of enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, and other related technologies.
• Ability to work independently and maintain an on-site presence five days a week.
• Previous experience with budgeting processes, auditing, or accounting functions is a plus.
