Job Description
We are looking for a skilled IT Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing critical IT projects related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures within the pharmaceutical industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead complex initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning and execution of IT projects associated with mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Act as a strategic liaison between IT teams and business units to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of IT integration or separation projects, including due diligence, Day 1 readiness, and post-close activities.
• Identify and address potential risks related to infrastructure, applications, security, and data during corporate transitions.
• Manage data migration, systems integration/separation, and compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
• Collaborate with external vendors and internal technical teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership and executive stakeholders regarding project progress, risks, and milestones
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
7+ years of IT project management experience, with at least 3 years in M& A and divestiture-related projects.
Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments, including infrastructure, applications, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
Experience executing IT due diligence, transition planning, and post-transaction support.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with TSA development and execution.
Preferred:
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
Experience in biotech, medical device, or pharmaceutical industries, with knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., GxP, HIPAA, FDA).
Familiarity with private equity environments or large-scale enterprise transactions.
Background in ERP, CRM, or cloud migration projects related to M& A activities.
