Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing assigned manufacturing-related equipment throughout the facility. This role requires adherence to standard procedures, internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications, and safety policies. The technician performs a wide variety of skilled work across multiple functions and operations within the preventive maintenance system.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance service and repairs on assigned equipment.

Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, replace, and maintain existing mechanical systems and associated equipment, including air compressors, air dryers, dehumidifiers, and cooling towers.

Facilitate and accurately follow specific detailed operational instructions and prints for jobs and setup operations.

Administer the preventive maintenance system and provide required reports.

Determine preventive maintenance requirements for new equipment and educate and train equipment operators to perform routine maintenance.

Maintain a safe and effective work area/environment and use appropriate personal protective and safety equipment.

Support the Facilities Function as needed.

Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedules, and additional hours as necessary.Essential Skills

Maintenance technician experience

Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and pneumatics

Experience with preventive maintenance, manufacturing, and mechanical systems

Electrical repair skills

Ability to read and understand schematicsAdditional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to perform maintenance service and repairs on assigned equipment

Work Environment

The Maintenance Technician will be working in a manufacturing environment. This role may require the use of personal protective and safety equipment and adherence to safety protocols. The position may involve working nights, weekends, and variable schedules.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mcminnville, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
