Job Title: General Production Operator
Job Description
Join our team as a General Production Operator, where you'll have the opportunity to work in various production areas, including operating punch presses, performing assembly tasks, and cross-training on different machinery such as drill presses, shear presses, and overhead cranes. Your role will involve loading and unloading machines, monitoring machine operations, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Responsibilities
Operate punch presses and other machinery to produce quality products.
Assemble components and ensure products meet quality standards.
Cross-train in multiple areas, including drill presses, shear presses, and overhead cranes.
Load and unload machines efficiently.
Monitor machine operations to ensure processes are running smoothly.
Maintain clean and organized work areas.
Perform housekeeping and special cleanup duties as assigned.
Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Use overhead cranes to lift and move products as needed.Essential Skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Proficiency in reading a tape measure.
Strong mechanical aptitude.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with punch presses and metal fabrication.
Familiarity with drill presses, benders, and saws.

Work Environment
Our work environment is a dynamic machine shop equipped with extensive metal fabrication equipment. You will work with large metal bars used as guide rails for railroads, utilizing overhead cranes for movement. Dress code includes long pants and long sleeves, and all necessary equipment and uniforms are provided by the company.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.25/hr.
