We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented File Clerk for our client located in New Orleans, Louisiana. The primary focus of this position is to support the office by transporting and organizing files, requiring the ability to move around the agency and handle physical tasks efficiently. This is a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Transport and organize files across various departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Load files onto carts and move them as needed to support administrative processes.
• Maintain an organized filing system to facilitate easy access and retrieval of documents.
• Assist with general file management tasks, including sorting and labeling documents accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient distribution of files.
• Perform occasional clerical duties to support administrative staff.
• Adhere to organizational procedures for handling confidential and sensitive information.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace to support a well-organized office environment.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring physical movement, such as lifting and transporting files.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Previous experience in file management or a similar role is preferred but not required.
