Are you ready to immerse yourself in cutting-edge research on advanced manufacturing for a sustainable environment? Join the WeckLab at the University of Ottawa as a full-time graduate student (Master’s or PhD) or Postdoctoral Fellow!

The research will involve hands-on experiments with ultrafast lasers, catalysis equipment, and simulation tools to:

Fabricate metallic and high entropy catalysts with ultrafast lasers.

Characterize laser-generated morphology and chemistry at the micro-nano scale using state-of-the-art microscopy and spectroscopy tools.

Explore laser-matter interactions, plasmonic activity, and catalytic mechanisms.

Use simulation tools to better understand the laser fabrication and catalytic processes.

Requirements:

Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
