This B2B dedicated Senior Account Executive will drive the development and growth of the B2B division by identifying and securing business opportunities with companies that operate dedicated fleets of vans and/or 5-ton trucks. The successful candidate will have an existing target list and currently sell dedicated outsource for private fleets. This role is ideal for a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in B2B sales, fleet management, or logistics solutions. As a one-person sales powerhouse, this individual will have the full support of the executive team however, will own the responsibility of developing and growing this division.
Responsibilities
Lead, develop and execute a sales strategy to identify and acquire new B2B clients
Target companies that operate their own fleets (up to 10 vehicles) and are looking to optimize fleet size and reduce operational inefficiencies
Develop and manage sales forecast, track performance against targets and report on progress to senior leadership
Utilize data to optimize sales efforts and strategies
Consult with potential clients to understand their fleet management challenges and present the company’s tailored solutions, including right-sizing their fleet, supplementing peak demand, integrating transparent routing technology
Establish win/win relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders
Present and sell the company’s value proposition, including the option to purchase their fleet
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction
Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals
Qualifications
Proven B2B Sales Expertise: Minimum of 2 – 5 years in B2B sales, preferably in logistics, transportation, or fleet management
Industry Knowledge: Expertise in fleet operations, leasing models, owner-operator networks, and logistics software solutions
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment
Ability to work independently and drive results with minimal supervision
Proactive in identifying and securing new business opportunities
Ability to analyze client needs and provide customized solutions
Thrives when presenting and discussing fleet optimization software and solutions
Knowledge of lease efficiency and renewal is a definite asset
Is seen as an Industry subject matter expert
Charismatic hunter and relationship builder
Ability to build rapport, negotiate, and close deals effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
Highly developed sales skills through to closing deals
