The Position

FanDuel Sports Network is seeking a Senior Benefits & HR Ops Specialist to join the HR Operations Team. Reporting to The HR Operations Leader, this position is a dynamic role that will be responsible for providing support in multiple areas of human resources operations and play an important role in fine tuning our processes. Areas of focus will include HRIS data management, benefits administration, leave management and various other areas of compliance and operations responsibilities.

This position is located in Southport, CT.

The Game Plan:

(What you will do)

Maintain a focus on staying aligned with the Company’s vision and mission and how the HR function plays a role in the business priorities.

Provide day-to-day support of benefits administration and leave management by becoming well acquainted with the company’s insurance plans, integrated systems and workflows.

Support the management of employee benefits data, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.

Strive to stay informed on both federal and state labor laws, regulations and compliance requirements in areas including but not limited to FMLA, PFL and unemployment.

Provide support for HR compliance and legal issues, including advising on HR policies and procedures

Maintain a schedule of yearly events within HR Operations to ensure the Company remains compliant and able to proactively communicate within the team and broader employee community.

Support administration of carrier billing and employee contribution audits for health savings and spending accounts.

HRIS data management; including managing employee data, handling inquiries, and assisting with safeguarding the integrity and privacy.

Ensure new hires have completed onboarding and received and completed the necessary information within required timeframes.

Provide support for HR initiatives and projects, such as open enrollment and system enhancements.

The Stats:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.

3+ years of experience in an HR Operations role.

Experience supporting benefits administration and leave management.

Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.

Ability to utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Experience in HR software and systems; Workday experience highly preferred.

Strong skills in Microsoft Suite.

Excellent organization and time management skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Ability to work independently and within a team.

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
